BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in an artistic household I found enjoyment in the act of creation ever since I can remember. As I grew older, my artwork developed from
mere copies of video game covers, and comic book characters into to my own
personal thoughts and feelings. Friends and family recognized my talent for art and encouraged me to keep at it. I find art almost meditative in a sense; when I
would sit down with a blank paper and a pencil nothing else mattered to me. My
stress was relived and my mind runs free. I really began to find my passion for art. I find
a great sense of enjoyment manipulating images in my head and then watching as
they came to life on the blank page in front of me. The
sources of my recreational artwork ideas mainly stem from the music I enjoy
listening to, though a vast majority of my portfolio is from the work I have
done throughout my high school career so more often than not it was difficult
to incorporate what I truly enjoy with the criteria provided. I enjoy using a vast range of materials, I am always willing to try something new! As do I enjoy creating a large array of styles, and creating different emotions through each of my pieces. Every thing from dark/eerie pieces, to colorful/abstract pieces. Although it is still very unclear to me exactly
what I would like to do as my future career, I know I want to be involved with
art, I want to continue creating; if not for a salary, then for my own personal
enjoyment. And like any talent, practice makes perfect.
